About Srijanika Art Gallery
Pencils, gouache or dry pastels, we guide students through hand control, perspective and steady mark-making.
Straight into sketching desks and easel stands. Students sit together working on paper grain, pressure control and tone values without rushing through fundamentals.
Learning manual drawing skills
Sessions focus on building observation skills directly on paper, breaking subjects into planes, shadows and outlines.
- Hand grip adjustments for different dry mediums
- Constructing basic forms through light sketching
- Layering color without muddying the paper
- Working with proportional grid layouts
What happens during critiques?
Finished sketches get pinned up for honest feedback on proportion, contrast balance and linework, giving students clear corrections for their next practice sheet.
