Frequently asked questions
How can I download the IBPS Clerk CSA 16th admit card?
Visit ibps.in, open the CRP CSA XVI recruitment link, and enter your registration number alongside your password or date of birth. Once your hall ticket appears on screen, verify the shift time, roll number, and test center address, then print a paper copy.
What documents do I need to carry to the preliminary exam center?
You must bring the printed IBPS admit card with a recent passport photograph glued to it, along with an original valid photo identity card such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, or voter identity card, plus one clear photocopy of that identity proof.
Is there negative marking in the IBPS Clerk prelims examination?
Yes, IBPS deducts one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to a question for every incorrect answer marked in both prelims and mains objective tests. Leaving an item blank carries no penalty, so candidates should answer carefully to protect their aggregate score.
What should I do if there is a discrepancy in my hall ticket details?
If you notice an error in your name, photograph, category, or date of birth on the hall ticket, reach out immediately to the IBPS candidate grievance redressal portal at cgrs.ibps.in. Lodge a query with your registration receipt details to get necessary guidance before test day.
Will IBPS dispatch admit cards through postal mail?
No, the testing agency does not send physical admit cards by post or courier under any circumstances. Every applicant must download and print their call letter directly from the official IBPS portal before the closing date indicated on the login page.
