About Portrait Art And Painting
Our studio runs hands-on sketching and painting sessions for local learners wanting practical guidance on techniques.
Learning drawing and portrait skills
Learners practice foundational pencil sketching before advancing to detailed brushwork on canvas. Sessions focus on observation, hand control, and proportions.
- Pencil shading and grid portraits
- Basic colour mixing on paper
- Acrylic work on small canvas boards
Daily guidance covers measuring proportions accurately. Beginners start with basic shapes. You need your own sketchpad and pencils to begin, as personal tools build steady home practice habits. Space inside stays limited so individuals get direct instructor correction during practical work.
