• Sayaji Baug, locally known as Kamati Baug, is a municipal park spanning 113 acres along the Vishwamitri River.
• Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III established the grounds in 1879 for city residents.
• Today, the park grounds contain the Baroda Museum and Picture Gallery, which exhibits Egyptian mummies, Tibetan art, and a massive skeleton of a blue whale.
• A functional floral clock operates in the center, and a narrow-gauge toy train transports passengers along a perimeter track.
• The area also houses the Sardar Patel Planetarium and a zoo holding Asiatic lions, tigers, and native bird species.
