About ALOHA-BRAINY
Mental arithmetic is rarely about quick tricks; we teach basic bead movement that builds steady calculation habits.
What happens in an abacus session?
Children start with basic counting frames, moving wooden beads with both hands to solve simple additions.
- Bead manipulation practice
- Mental arithmetic drills
- Structured calculation sheets
Daily calculation practice
Progress takes time and steady attendance. By working through regular finger patterns on the frame week after week, pupils slowly pick up speed and learn to visualize numbers without relying on calculators or rough paper. It takes patience at home too.
