• Yeoor Hills forms the eastern boundary of Sanjay Gandhi National Park, accessible through Upvan and Manpada.
• Historically inhabited by local Adivasi communities, the forest area was brought under state wildlife protection during the twentieth century.
• The forest shelters leopards, barking deer, cobras, and over seventy species of butterflies along its wooded slopes.
• Hikers and cyclists use the main paved access road up to Patonapada, while marked dirt paths lead further into the buffer zone.
• Several small waterfalls appear along the gullies during the monsoon, drawing daytime walkers from nearby residential sectors.
• The best months to visit run from July through November, when rainwater fills the streams and keeps the trails cool.
• The forest checkpost charges a small vehicle entry fee, and visitor entry is restricted between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
