A sudden episode of complete eyelid closure led to enormous stress for our patient. MRI imaging helped confirm what we had clinically diagnosed to be orbital inflammation. A course of intravenous steroids under antibiotic cover controlled the swelling. But this is not the end. In order to ensure such episodes do not occur again, we support our patients to adopt a lifestyle that will reduce inflammation in the body.
