About Mind Magic Abacus Academy
Our centre runs daily hands-on abacus sessions for school children across Kalwa to build steady mental arithmetic habits.
Learning mental arithmetic step by step
Children work through graded abacus levels using manual bead frames, shifting gradually toward visualising beads directly in their minds for faster sums.
- Bead movement practice for addition and subtraction
- Timed mental math drills to build speed
- Guided classroom exercises with steady teacher supervision
Practising calculations without pen and paper
Daily training focuses on sharpening concentration through structured counting drills. Regular practice helps children grasp basic number concepts while picking up speed on foundational arithmetic sums. Most students develop stronger calculation confidence after settling into the routine.
