Nrutyanjali Academy of Kathak, Kathak Class, Institute Surat

Classical Kathak Training in Athwalines

Daily studio routines focus on pure Jaipur or Lucknow style footwork, hand gestures, rhythm structures, and stage abhinaya.

• Tatkar footwork drill patterns
• Chakkars and balanced turns
• Taal counting and bol recitation
• Expressive mythological storytelling items

Practicing traditional classical dance takes discipline. We give focused attention to body alignment, stamina building, and precise foot rhythm without rushing beginners past foundational basics. Routine practice spaces get crowded during evening batches, so attending scheduled afternoon slots offers more room.
