Shree Montessori playgroup and Nursery

What happens during a typical classroom day?

Children work directly with sensory materials, language puzzles, and practical life exercises. Teachers guide each child individually rather than lecturing from a blackboard. Self-directed activity forms the core routine here.

• Daily practical life exercises
• Tactile sensorial learning tools
• Early phonics and number work
• Guided social interaction routines

Classroom structure and readiness

Children spend their time working on mats with self-correcting learning apparatus, building fine motor coordination without rote memorisation pressure. Progress happens at an individual pace, so readiness for formal primary schooling builds gradually through regular attendance.
