AMA Art & Craft Classes - Main Branch - Painting and Drawing Class

Learning basic drawing and brush skills

Starting out means getting the simple strokes right first. Paper, pencils and mixing shades get covered during regular studio time.

• Sketching line fundamentals and outlines
• Water colour and poster colour blending
• Craft projects using paper cutouts

Practising creative techniques step by step

Students sit down and work on still life sketches or simple canvas paintings at their own pace without anyone rushing them through each exercise. You learn through daily repetition. Mistakes happen on paper, and correcting them is how hands get steady over time. Teachers guide the pencils directly, showing practical brush handling whenever a sketch needs cleaner balance.
