About Art Mantra, Art classes
Most assume drawing lessons require natural talent, but regular studio practice builds actual sketching control much faster.
What happens in class?
Sessions focus on fundamental pencil handling, basic line work, and shading forms. Learners practise observational techniques using simple daily objects before trying complex compositions.
Studio practice and setup
- Guided pencil sketching and basic proportions
- Introduction to shading and tonal values
- Regular practice sheets for home revision
Beginners work alongside school students who want steady, step-by-step drawing support. Instructors review progress on paper directly rather than demonstrating from a distance. The structured weekly routine helps develop patience through quiet desk work. Bring your basic sketchpad and pencils along for the initial session.
