About UCMAS Aundh, DP Road
Children learn mental arithmetic and abacus calculation techniques with us during structured weekend training batches.
Practising mental calculation on DP Road
Children train using physical abacus frames before moving on to visual calculations done entirely in their heads.
- Hand-and-eye coordination with the abacus frame
- Timed speed arithmetic drills
- Gradual transition toward pure mental arithmetic
Building speed through weekly routines
Students sit together in batches to solve arithmetic sums within set minutes, which helps them handle larger figures without pen and paper. Regular speed practice keeps their concentration steady as they advance through successive module levels across terms. Progress depends mainly on doing the short daily practice at home alongside these centre sessions.
