About Jaya Jog
Our music classes in Kothrud focus on practical riyaz, foundational ear training, and sustained vocal discipline.
Vocal Training
Daily sessions prioritize swara stability, laya control, and systematic raga progression. Students practice basic scales and traditional compositions directly with guided accompaniment.
- Swara placement drills
- Breath pacing routines
- Bandish memorisation
- Tanpura tuning basics
Batch Formats
Class size stays small. Each student works through individual corrections rather than singing only in chorus.
Progress demands regular home practice alongside attendance. Beginners spend significant time on early swaravalis before moving into complex bandishes. Direct coordination by phone handles trial scheduling and current slot availability.
