About Indira Gandhi Planetarium
Our centre runs sky shows and science exhibits for students and curious visitors in Patna.
Sky shows at Kidwaipuri
Daily astronomy projections run inside the dome theatre, breaking down space science into simple visual sessions. School batches and families fill most afternoon slots.
Dome screenings and science visits
- Regular celestial screenings explain planetary motion clearly
- Walking galleries hold interactive physical exhibits
- Space for organised school group tours
- Accessible central location inside the city
Visitors usually pair the indoor planetarium show with the display models outside the main hall. Reaching here via Bailey Road keeps travel simple, though parking fills quickly on Sundays. Buying tickets at the counter before showtime avoids missed entries.
