USHA ART AND CRAFT

Learning fundamentals

Every session focuses on pencil handling, proportional sketching, line weight and clean colouring methods. Students build patience through step-by-step guidance on paper and craft media.

• Pencil control and sketching basics
• Craft construction techniques
• Regular guided drawing exercises

Practising consistently

Good drafting needs regular repetition. Beginners often rush their work, so learners practice fundamental hand movements through guided repetition across multiple media until basic forms, shapes, shading tones, and outlines sit naturally on paper without constant eraser marks.

Carry basic drawing books, graphite pencils and erasers. Bring a box of oil pastels or craft scissors depending on what the week requires. Work happens at flat studio tables.
