About Prath , An Art Centre for Children
Mostly guided drawing and mixed media studio work. We guide children through fundamental sketch techniques and colour application.
Studio Drawing Work
Direct observation exercises first. Children begin by sketching line structure, tone, and proportion before touching paints.
- Pencil and charcoal work
- Watercolour wash layering
- Oil pastel blending techniques
- Basic figure studies
Practical Workshop Notes
The studio provides regular materials on-site, though students bring their own sketchbooks. Class sizes remain small so every child gets corrective input on brush grip and composition. Work stays grounded in observational drawing fundamentals rather than copy-pasting reference images. Parents must handle pickup promptly as parking space outside stays tight during batch changeovers.
