Viking Maritime Training Institute

What maritime training happens here?

Practical seafaring demands clear instruction before going out to sea. We cover essential deck and engine room competencies for candidates preparing for merchant vessel duties.

• Fire prevention safety drills
• Personal survival techniques
• Navigation watch routines
• Engine maintenance basics

Practical vocational preparation

Candidates spend substantial time on standard vessel protocols so technical duties become second nature during open water voyages. Guidance stays strictly aligned with current maritime board mandates. Trainers work directly with students on basic seamanship tasks. That steady drill work gives candidates the confidence to handle actual vessel operations smoothly. Core merchant navy skills remain our primary classroom emphasis throughout each batch.
