About JAY Abacus Classes
Mental arithmetic practice takes patience, so we guide school students step by step using physical abacus frames.
What happens during sessions?
Children work on counting frames to understand bead movements before trying mental calculations. The room stays quiet during practice drills.
Daily math practice
Instructors check calculations individually and assign small sets of exercises.
- Bead movement drills
- Basic arithmetic problem sheets
- Regular speed tracking exercises
Instructors explain steps again if a child struggles with carrying numbers, helping build consistent arithmetic habits without rush. Batches stay small so everyone gets a turn on the board. Parents can call ahead to ask about current batch timings.
