About SHADANG POTTERY STUDIO
Clay work takes patience. We run hands-on studio sessions right here in Satpur Colony for beginners.
Working with raw clay
Hands get dirty here. You sit down, centre the lump on the wheel, and try shaping simple bowls or cups under patient supervision.
- Hand building using basic slabs and coils
- Wheel throwing practice for everyday ceramic shapes
- Glaze basics and firing your finished pieces
Coming in prepared
Dress down completely. Wet clay splatters easily, so wear old cotton clothes that you do not mind staining during class. Bring an extra hand towel along. It takes a few attempts before a cup holds its shape, so leave any hurry at the door. You learn by feeling the clay move.
