About Chitrakale - Drawing and Painting Class
Our studio runs hands-on sketching, pencil shading, and basic brushwork sessions for beginners in Kuvempu Nagara.
Studio Focus
Daily studio time centres on line work, basic geometry, proportion control, and mixing pigments on paper.
- Pencil shading grades
- Colour wheel basics
- Still life sketch
- Acrylic brush practice
Learners move from light freehand pencil outlines to controlled tonal gradients and dry-on-wet watercolours, learning how different paper weights react before attempting heavier pigment washes on canvas.
Practical Notes
Students bring their own basic sketchbooks and drawing pencils. Lessons prioritize foundational line accuracy over rapid completion. Seating is simple floor and table space suited for quiet practice. Batch sizes remain intentionally small to review individual strokes.
