About Art Alternative
Not just passing time with colours. We teach drawing fundamentals so students actually learn to see shapes.
Studio Drawing Practice
Line control comes before composition. Students work directly on paper, breaking subjects down into basic proportions, perspective lines, and shading gradients rather than tracing or copying finished images.
- Observational sketching routines
- Pencil and dry media techniques
- Value studies using light sources
Practical Course Notes
Progress depends entirely on desk hours. Expect regular assignments, and make sure students have a quiet setup at home for daily drawing drills between classroom critiques. Fundamental practice remains central throughout.
