FREE ✨ Jan 2016: I started my HIPEC program with him. Appendiceal carcinoma. PCI 27. Extensive peritoneal carcinomatosis. CRS + total proctocolectomy + 50cm ileal resection + comprehensive peritonectomy + HIPEC (intraperitoneal oxaliplatin). Follow-up HIPECs: 2019, 2022 Systemic chemo: Never. Patient declined due to fear. Today: 10 years disease-free. Cured. This is why we do HIPEC. Aggressive locoregional therapy can cure, even with PCI 27.
