What a surprise! Little did I know, my family was there to see me. It was the first time my mom saw me in my scrubs, and seeing her there, looking at me with so much pride, is something I’ll never forget. My uncle and aunt were there too. We clicked pictures, hugged, smiled, and shared a few moments that didn’t need words. I could see the tears in my mom’s eyes. She didn’t say much, but I knew exactly what she was feeling. Sometimes, you don’t need someone to tell you how proud they are. You can just see it in their eyes. And that day, I felt it all. I didn’t know my family would be there.
