Yesterday at Carmel Convent School, Badlapur, I spoke with teachers and parents about child development and emotional health. With today being Father's Day, one thought stayed with me. The brain and body are deeply connected, and a child's growth is shaped by nutrition, sleep and relationships. That's why fathers matter. Through their presence and responses, fathers help children learn: Is the world safe? Can I trust people? Do I matter? A father's greatest contribution is who he becomes around his child.
