Jhanak Nritya Academy Kathak & Bharatanatyam

Classical Training

Daily routines focus on posture, footwork, hand gestures, and rhythmic timing. Sessions break down complex foot movements into manageable counts before setting them to traditional bols.

• Tatkar footwork drill sets
• Hastak and mudra practice
• Adavu sequences in varied speeds
• Taal counting with padhant

Studio Practice

Students spend dedicated time synchronising foot strikes with hand coordination to build physical stamina. We correct posture errors during class so learners maintain disciplined body alignment across both northern and southern Indian classical formats. Beginners start with basic beat patterns before advancing to expressive abhinaya.
