About Arty Crafty
Teaching regular sketch work and painting basics keeps our Civil Lines classroom active through the week.
Studio Practice
Drawing sessions run through practical table work rather than lectures. Students work on pencil control, shading values, and paper handling.
- Paper sketching exercises
- Pencil shading work
- Basic color application
Practical Learning
Beginners work alongside returning students who are tackling longer drawing tasks at their own pace. Progress here means learning to observe clean outlines and correct perspective patiently before taking on detailed finished sheets with mixed color media. Sessions remain small. You bring your own sketchbook and pencils to class.
