7 years ago, Marpu was born. Not in an office. In the head of an 18-year-old who had just finished school and had no idea what he was doing. He grew up in Army cantonments. Forests, rivers, clean air. At 14 his family moved to Hyderabad and all of it disappeared. He told his father he hated the city. His father said: "If you do not like something, change it." So he did. He named it Marpu. Year one was small. Tree plantations nobody noticed. Campus cleanups. Sessions in borrowed rooms. No money, no partners, no team. Just a few people who kept showing up. That is what a baby looks like. It cannot walk yet. It just refuses to stop trying. Today, a million volunteers carry that same name. 7 years. 7 posts. This is Day 1.
