Ornate nineteenth-century mausoleum filled with chandeliers

• Nawab Muhammad Ali Shah commissioned Chota Imambara, formally known as Imambara Husainabad Mubarak, in 1838 as his burial place and a congregation hall.
• Located roughly a kilometre west of Bara Imambara, the monument features white domes, gilded minarets, and exterior walls decorated with Islamic calligraphy and floral stucco work.
• Inside the prayer chamber hang dozens of vintage Belgian and European crystal chandeliers, glass lamps, and silver-plated mimbar pulpits preserved from the Nawabi period.
• Across the reflecting pool sits the tomb of the Nawab's daughter, built as a smaller brick replica of the Taj Mahal.
• The cooler winter season from October to March gives clear visibility and pleasant afternoon temperatures.
• The site opens between 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM daily, admitting visitors under the combined ticket sold at the Bara Imambara entrance.
