About Rochart institute of Drawing art and craft
Hands-on studio practice. We teach drawing fundamentals, painting, and craftwork to learners across Kozhikode.
What happens in studio sessions?
Pencil sketching first. Students then move on to watercolours, acrylics, and model-making. Instructors guide line weight, proportion, and brush control right at the easel.
Studio workspace and activities
Daily studio time centres on practical exercises rather than textbook theory.
- Sketching from still-life objects
- Colour mixing with gouache and acrylics
- Paper craft and structure assembly
- Individual critique during class work
Learners handle materials directly, building a working portfolio over regular practice sessions. You work at your own pace alongside other students.
