About Aloha Abacus Classes
Mental arithmetic drills with beads. We run weekly classroom sessions for school students across Kota.
What happens during sessions?
Children work through bead-frame calculations step by step before moving to visual problem solving.
- Bead movement practice for manual calculation
- Timed mental math sheets
- Dictated speed tests
Daily calculation work
Speed and working accuracy build up through weekly repetitions. Students practice mental arithmetic techniques on simple arithmetic problems first, then shift to larger multi-digit problems without writing down intermediate steps. Classroom work stays practical, quiet and focused on working numbers quickly without calculators or phone screens.
