About Nrityanjali Traditional Kathak Institution
Finding authentic classical dance training close to home in South Kolkata takes real effort, so we teach traditional Kathak step-by-step.
What happens in class?
Students learn foundational footwork, hand gestures, and rhythm cycles straight from classical Kathak tradition. Training stays grounded in discipline and clear technique.
- Tatkar and basic footwork drills
- Hastak mudras and balance
- Teental rhythm recitation
Practical routine
Practising here means focusing on pure movement rather than shortcuts. We keep batches small so each person gets corrected on posture right away. This studio offers dedicated classical training rooted in patience. Learners build stamina gradually over regular practice sessions throughout the month.
