About JD Institute of Fashion Technology Kolkata
Fashion training is not just sketching pretty dresses all afternoon, so we focus on actual technical design skills here in Elgin.
What courses happen here?
Training covers standard fashion and interior design syllabuses along with garment construction drills.
- Pattern drafting and cutting
- Interior styling and space planning
- Textile study modules
- Portfolio preparation
Campus routines
Expect regular desk critiques, studio assignments, and hands-on pattern drafting that takes up plenty of classroom time. Joining a design programme takes serious patience and sustained manual effort over several months rather than instant runway results. Bring your own drawing supplies on regular class days. The desk space fills up fast during practical submission weeks.
