About Artificial Eye Co
Our centre shapes, fits, and polishes custom ocular prosthetics for individuals who have lost an eye to trauma or disease.
What happens during an appointment?
First, we assess the eye socket tissue and take an exact impression. The acrylic shell is sculpted, hand-painted to match your other eye, and checked for comfortable movement.
- Fitting custom ocular prosthetics
- Reshaping and adjustments for grown children
- Surface cleaning and routine polish
Practical care routines
A proper fit needs minimal daily handling. Getting the piece checked yearly for surface scratches prevents eyelid irritation and protects delicate socket lining over time.
