About Amrit Somani Memorial Centre
Yes, our daily work centres entirely on special education support for children here in Ballygunge.
Classroom Support
Children learn differently. Classwork focuses on individualized attention, basic functional skills, and gradual developmental steps rather than rigid academic targets. Every child follows a personal pace set after conversations with the family.
- Routine speech activities
- Sensory play exercises
- Guided motor tasks
- Daily living skills
Practical Visits
Plan visits ahead. We work quietly on specific weekdays, so prior telephone contact is needed before bringing a child over for any formal intake or initial assessment. Direct walk-ins usually disrupt ongoing sessions.
