About University Cricket Ground
Finding open practice turf in Vidya Nagar is tough, so we keep this cricket field open for local players.
What happens on the pitch
Neighbourhood teams run weekend matches here, and students use the nets for individual bowling practice before class. Regular cricket matches and casual practice sessions happen across the week, giving players enough room to bowl full run-ups and hit boundaries without feeling cramped by tight urban boundaries.
