About Arika Art Academy
Children and hobbyists join us to pick up practical pencil sketching and brushwork fundamentals in small batches.
What happens in class?
Students sit down with cartridge sheets, graphite pencils and basic paints. Beginners start with line control exercises, perspective drawing and basic tonal gradations before shifting toward structured still life compositions or water-based colour mixing on paper.
Practical studio practice
- Daily pencil shading drills and geometric shape studies
- Dry and wet colour medium handling on paper
- Direct guidance while working on independent sketches
Students receive individual feedback directly at their desks. Materials can be brought along based on what medium you practice during the term. Call ahead to confirm desk availability before dropping by.
