About Chitrakaar by artist
Drawing takes guided observation, not just raw talent. We teach deliberate mark-making techniques directly in Swaroop Nagar.
Pencil handling and brushwork
Not just copying outlines. Students practice hand stability, tonal values, perspective grids and medium control through structured exercises. We emphasize foundational sketch construction over rushed final pictures.
What happens during studio sessions?
Learners work through graded studio assignments across multiple drawing formats:
- Line weight control and shading depth
- Still-life composition setups
- Medium handling on different paper surfaces
Daily studio routines focus on direct instructor critique. You see where line proportions falter, make adjustments on scrap sheets, and re-draw until strokes turn steady and accurate.
