Learning line and form

Careful observation matters most. Students work through basic sketching before moving on to shading, composition and handling different colour mediums.

• Line drawing fundamentals
• Shading and tone control
• Colour application methods

Practising during the session

Time at the easel builds patience. Small batches give learners enough room to focus, ask questions and develop their own hand without hurry.

Setting up the work

Learners bring their regular sketchbooks and basic pencils to get started. Working with hands-on drawing techniques keeps the focus on solid basics rather than quick shortcuts. Practical demonstrations guide each exercise.
