About Dola Art Center
Pencil work comes first, and we guide students step by step right here in Sonari.
Studio sessions in Sonari
Students sit together around shared tables, working on sketching exercises and color mixing. Some bring sketchbooks from school while others start directly on blank sheets with charcoal or watercolor paint.
What happens during class?
Instruction focuses on building core hand control through regular drawing practice:
- Paper handling and line work
- Shading with soft pencils
- Basic color studies
Quiet concentration fills the room, and learners take their time finishing individual pieces without any rush before heading home. Daily practice sheets stay with students to carry forward into next week's assignments.
