• Rajwada Palace stands in the center of old Indore as the historic seat of the Holkar dynasty.
• Built in 1747 by Malhar Rao Holkar, the structure mixes Maratha, Mughal, and French architectural styles across seven floors.
• The lower three stories are built from stone, while the upper four are constructed of wood, having survived multiple fires and major reconstructions over the centuries.
• Inside, a stone-paved courtyard opens up to wooden balconies, carved corridors, and a hall housing statues and royal portraits.

• The complex opens Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an entry fee of roughly twenty rupees for Indian citizens.
