​Clinical Case Summary​Patient History​The patient initially presented in the UK, where there was a high suspicion of malignancy, and further investigations were advised to confirm a diagnosis. Upon arriving in India, the patient sought consultation at a corporate hospital setup, where they were misdiagnosed and treated for asthma. The patient subsequently presented to our facility for further evaluation and management.​Investigations​CT Scan (Chest): Revealed multiple nodular lesions, areas of dense consolidation, and mediastinal lymphadenopathy.​Bronchoscopy: Performed based on the CT findings, which visualized distinct endobronchial nodules.​Biopsy & Bronchoalveolar Lavage (BAL): Tissue samples and fluid cultures were obtained during the bronchoscopy.​Diagnosis & Management​Pathology and microbiology results from the biopsy and BAL confirmed a diagnosis of Drug-Sensitive Tuberculosis (DS-TB), ruling out the suspected malignancy. Anti-tubercular therapy (ATT) has been successfully initiated, and the patient is currently under active follow-up for monitoring treatment response. Jun 24, 2026
