About Sri Natarajeshwara Kala Natya Peetam
Classical dance takes steady patience, not instant stage tricks. We teach step by step in Jagathgiri Gutta.
Walking into the hall
Bare feet on stone. Children gather after school hours while the teacher sets basic rhythms on the talam. Parents sit along the wall, watching the practice.
Practising steps and posture
Training starts from basic footwork before any student moves to mudras or complex storytelling.
- Foot rhythms counted aloud
- Hand gestures practiced repeatedly
- Correction of spine alignment
Regular repetition builds disciplined stage presentation over several months. You turn up, repeat drills, and master body control before picking up recitals. Phone consultations help sort class placements.
