Nav Jhankar Kathak Dance Academy

Studio training routines

Learning classical Indian dance takes patient body conditioning rather than quick choreography drills. Footwork, hand gestures, and rhythm cycles form the core of daily practice here. Classes run in groups where teachers correct physical alignment and rhythmic precision.

• Daily practice covers tatkar footwork cycles
• Disciplined rhythm counting guides every routine
• Bharatanatyam and contemporary batches run separately

What happens during sessions?

Teachers track how every student maintains balance, holds postures, and picks up taal patterns across classical and modern styles.
