About Mattaparthi's Atelier
Art training is not about innate talent; we teach anyone willing to hold a pencil properly.
What do students actually practise?
Drawing is mostly learning to see proportions accurately before applying any pressure on paper. Learners work directly with line work, structural forms, and basic shading rather than tracing templates or copying random prints.
- Foundational pencil sketching techniques
- Observation-based object drawing
- Guided practice across different dry media
The workspace setup
Class takes place inside an active studio setting in Banjara Hills, keeping group sizes modest. Instructors review each exercise on the spot so mistakes get corrected immediately. It gives beginners room to build steady hand control without getting overwhelmed by theory. Direct feedback matters more than rigid lesson plans here.
