Itsy Bitsy

What happens during a session?

Instructors demonstrate stroke techniques on scrap sheets before learners begin sketching on final paper. You get immediate guidance on line weight, hand pressure, and proportions.

• Shading drills using graded graphite pencils
• Brush handling and dry brush experiments
• Grid drawing methods for balance

Studio practice and materials

Students sit together around wide wooden desks under bright track lighting. Beginners work with fine graphite, soft pastels, and standard drawing pads while exploring simple contours. The focus stays entirely on developing steady hand control through repeated, measured exercises rather than rushing into complex compositions. Ask desk staff if you want project-specific material recommendations.
