About Cakes N Hugs
Yes, we bake every sponge fresh each morning right here in Jubilee Hills for walk-in orders.
Oven bakes and sponge prep
Flour dust settles early behind the counter. Our bakers mix batter in batches, monitoring oven temperatures throughout the morning shift so each layer bakes evenly without drying out.
- Daily sponge preparation
- Custom sponge sizing
- Direct counter pickups
Order turnaround
Simple celebration sponges get frosted on site while you wait, but layered tiers with dense structural piping demand roughly four hours of chilling time to set firm before transport. Call beforehand for custom tiers.
