RBI Draft Directions on Interest Rates on Loans & Advances, 2026 The Reserve Bank of India has issued the draft Reserve Bank of India (Interest Rates on Loans and Advances) Directions, 2026 for public comments. The proposed framework seeks to harmonise the principles for determining interest rates on fixed-rate and floating-rate loans across regulated entities, including Banks, NBFCs, All India Financial Institutions, RRBs and Cooperative Banks.
