About Sur sadhana
Learning music takes steady practice rather than quick shortcuts, and we guide students through systematic vocal training.
Vocal foundations and riyaz
Many assume singing begins with songs, but real progress starts with breath control and ear training. Regular practice trains your pitch recognition.
- Swara alignment drills
- Breath pacing routines
- Rhythm timing on the beats
What happens during practical sessions?
Students spend their class time working directly on notes rather than listening to passive theory. You repeat scale exercises alongside harmonium accompaniment to build consistent pitch accuracy across octaves. Errors get corrected immediately so bad habits do not settle in. Weekly practice routines stay manageable for school pupils and working adults alike.
