About IIT(ISM) Shooting Range
Inside the campus perimeter, we maintain target lanes for students and local sports enthusiasts learning disciplined marksmanship.
What happens during practice?
Target practice runs in quiet, timed relays under careful watch. Students work on posture, steady grip, and breath control across the indoor lines.
- Caliber handling practice
- Stance and alignment drills
- Scored target cards
Range conditions
Safety lines remain clearly marked across the firing points. Strict lane discipline governs every round fired, giving Dhanbad shooters an orderly environment built specifically for slow-fire target sports rather than casual recreation. Bring verified identity cards before entering.
